QUESTION:
I purchased a Vaio vpc-f12yfx/b 2 days
ago, and was playing a game tonight, and the computer locked up. It wouldn't
respond at all, so I did a hard restart, and now will not boot at all.
The power light comes on green, but nothing else. I let it sit for a while and then tried again, but still the same, except the backlight on the keyboard comes on periodically.
I love Sony products, and this is the first one I have ever had any real problems with. Any help would be appreciated.

SOLUTION:
Try power cycling the unit by
unplugging the unit from power, remove the battery. Then hold down the power
button for a few seconds. Put the battery back in and plug in to power.
Then
press the power button to see if the unit turns on. If it is still not turning
on service may be required.
