BIOS update problem VPCCW21FX - need help

 QUESTION:

Everything is fine when I bought this laptop in Jan 2010 until i got problem this end June 2011 when my laptop started overheating then gets turned off automatically . i can't do my activities longer than 45 minutes.

I only notice this problem after I got the bios update from sony.com for this model VPCCW21FX.this file AIBSYS-00225484-1042.EXE
===========================================
Filename: AIBSYS-00225484-1042.EXE
Version: R0170Y7
Last Modified: 06/30/2010
Size: 2.37 MB

what products and operating systems does this apply to?
Model: VPCCW21FX/W
Operating System(s):
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit

===========================================
One says it doesn’t support while the other says this bios update is compatible with my model .It appears to me that this is not consistent. Now which is which? As an end user, my logic is to follow my instinct to just follow the sony.com site as i believe this is where i should seek support in the first place.
Now my query now is how can i restore the original bios built from the original version?

Is there a way to retrieve the original BIOS? if not, then how i can solve this?

My current version:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
System Manufacturer Sony Corporation
System Model VPCCW21FX
System Type x64-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz, 2133 MHz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. R0170Y7, 5/14/2010
SMBIOS Version 2.6
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.1.7601.17514"

Can somebody assist me pls? What do i need to do?

SOLUTION:

First off please review this page to see if your notebook was affected by a thermal fan issue regarding the CW2 series notebook.

Secondly this is the generic BIOS update for all the affected models

This may help you if this update

Did not resolve your issue

if you still are experiencing boot issues after this update do contact support for possible in warranty repair options.

Do not install updates for a non US model as this may cause issues.
