Driver won’t update

QUESTION:

i have a E series VPCEG18FG windows 7 home premium 64-bit
I’ve been trying to play a few game Tales of pirates and tales of pirates 2 and the text seems to be missing or invisible the support team suggests that I should update my video card driver so i check the sony update and it says that everything is up to date. But when I check on the NVidia site my driver is not up to date NVidia Ge Force 410M 267.43 and the newest driver for my video card should be 280.26

I tried to install the new driver but it says NVidia installer cannot continue the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. When will vaio release up to date drivers. It seems they are lagging when it come to new drivers for their hardware.

SOLUTION:

We do not support 3rd party games; however I did research your problem at their website.

 
Per their requirements for Graphics Card you should be using ATI 9200/NVidia FX5200 or better. Your 410M exceeds this. It’s not a graphics issue, Remember, you are playing a free online game, if they get stuck, and it’s far easier to pass you back to the manufacturer.

As for video card updates. There are no current updates at eSupport for your model. Downloading Retail chip drivers from NVidia directly is not recommended.
