QUESTION:
My
laptop VPCF111FX/B was working with camera. I updated the OS with SP1 and other
updates. It is now showing "5U876 device" as undefined device. I
downloaded the software update from esupport.sony.com and it errors out
"for Vista" only.
Can someone tell me how to fix it without re-imaging with the factory supplied image?
I had tremendous heating problems with this laptop and the heat sync was replaced and still heat & fan are annoying.
This is my second VAIO, first being AR2700.
Please help me fixing the camera driver.

2. In the list of hardware categories, find the device that you want to update (5U876), and then double-click the device name.
3. Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and then follow the instructions. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
