QUESTION:
I
have a Sony vaio vpcy216gx notebook. I'm running on windows 7 profession 64
bit. I noticed that the Sony Intel hd graphics driver does not support opengl
like its supposed to.
When using an opengl extension viewer it said it only
supported 1.1 Then, I installed the stock Intel hd graphics driver from their
website and they had opengl support up to 2.1.
However, i couldn't stick with
it because it caused my computer to be too unstable and crashed.
my current sony driver version: 8.15.10.2202
the stock Intel driver version i tried: 8.15.10.2321

However
at this time there are no newer or separate updates to the intel HD Graphics
other than the original Driver.
