QUESTION:
I require all the drivers for the below
device or a recovery image.
SONY VAIO LAPTOP
MODEL: SVE1711X1EB
OS: Windows 7 x64 Home PREMIUM
Family friend from Germany is
staying with us in Australia and his machine was blue screening originally due
to display driver. I was able to fix for him by going into safe mode and
uninstalling the driver.
However, this week the disk
started playing up and causing machine freezes and fails/ restarts, windows
failing, etc. I corrected the issue by disk parting the drive and formatting it
manually then re-installed windows.
Machine now has been running fine
but i can’t find the drivers required on the Sony website keeps telling it a
European model and when i got to the UK site i can’t get them anywhere.
Can someone please point me the
right direction to get the drivers for this device?
SOLUTION:
It seems that you installed a retail
copy of Windows OS, right? If you used the recovery partition, you should have
at least the Vaio Care or Vaio Update. SVE1711X1EB is a non-U.S. model and we have limited
information about this unit and we do not have the drivers and software.
We
kindly recommend visiting our Sony Global Website for information on contacting
the Sony Support Center in the region nearest to where you purchased the unit
