Track pad not working and not showing up in device

QUESTION:

I have a Sony VAIO E Series model SVE1411CFXW, my track pad stopped working overnight, I really don't know what happened, it was fine yesterday.

Today when I realized it wasn't working, I opened mouse properties and it all seemed to be okay, so I entered Device Manager and updated driver's software from a list in my computer; after I restarted my laptop, mouse properties didn't show Synaptics anymore and neither did Device Manager, although when I open Programs and Features, driver appears as installed.

I tried downloading it again and restarting but it also didn't work.

Also I tried starting BIOS and putting settings on default but it didn't work either.

I don't know what to do anymore, I really need my track pad to work, please help!
