How can I find correct model number of my vaio?

QUESTION:

I have one VAIO notebook. I want to sell it but I have a model problem. Problem is this: Model number on the sticker on the back of my VAIO is VPC-CW2SGX/B. But on the box of notebook is VPC-CW2CT01. And also VAIO care shows the same (VPC-CW2SGX/B).

Then I decided to look for support for CW2SGX/B on the Sony's support webpage. But it made everything more difficult. Because processor for CW2SGX/B is Intel core i3 (I saw it on market specs on support page and also on cnet). But my VAIO's processor is Intel core i7.

So what should I do now? I bought this notebook in about 2009-2010. At that time I didn't notice this. How can I find correct model number?

SOLUTION:

(VPC-CW2SGX/B) this is your model. There are both i3 and i7 in the same model. check this link

Your Sony Vaio VPCCW2SGX/B appears to be a "custom order" unit. Special build models like your laptop usually have CT, CTO, or BTO in their model names (or labeled in the box). Specifications may be different compared to regular models. These models are not searchable on Sony support websites. The base model of your laptop is
