Vaio VPCL117FX Win7 SP1 Home Premium

QUESTION:

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact edition has reached end of life and suggests upgrading to 2008 version.

 

I would like to ask two questions:

 

1 Do I need this software and if I do not, how do I remove it, since it does not appear in the uninstall or change programs? Does Vaio Care require it?

 

2. If I need it, should I upgrade to 2008 or higher version?

 

 

SOLUTION:

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition is most likely part of Windows 7 Operating System and not controlled by Vaio Care application. We suggest running Windows Update to download and install the updates from Microsoft.
