Vaio SVF14212SGW

QUESTION:

I bought this Sony Vaio SVF14212SGW 2 years ago with windows 8 pre installed. But I have to downgrade it to windows 7 coz my software for my work is not compatible with windows 8.

I ask some computer shop to downgrade it coz no Sony service center near here. he was formatting everything and the recovery too, but he have create a recovery disc into 5 pieces of CD

But now I want back to windows 8, i have install it but not all function working, like no Bluetooth, wireless LAN, I have install Broad com wireless driver that availed on sony site, boot no one working.

Can someone help me how to clean install windows 8 here and show me step by step to clean install windows 8. Or any chance to use the 5 recovery disc??

Some say to me that CD is GPT format not MBR..

I forgot to say the HDD format has changed to Legacy, i just want to make it to factory setting wit UEFI (GPT partition)but yesterday I try to boot from USB to reinstall it and the USB did not found, I have enable external boot on BIOS and change to UEFI mode.

Can you tell step by step me sir how to clean install from Legacy (MBR) to UEFI (GPT) BIOS?

SOLUTION:

How did you install the original OS using the recovery disc?

Here are the steps on how to use the disc to recover your system

1)      Turn on the computer.

2)      Insert Recovery Disc #1 into the DVD drive.

3)      Turn off the computer.

4)      Turn on the computer.

5)      In the System Recovery Options window, under Select a keyboard layout: click the Next button.

6)      Under select an operating system to repair, click the Next button.

7)      Under Choose a recovery tool, click to select VAIO Recovery Center then select Restore Complete System
