VPCCB15FB - unable to turn off backlit keyboard
QUESTION:
I deselected the checkbox
(turn backlit on when surroundings dark) in vaio control center but it’s not
working.
I upgraded my OS to Win10 and that stopped working some of
the functionalities of vaio system such as increasing brightness by keys and
backlit.
For your information, my vaio system and windows are up to
date still I’m facing this issue.
SOLUTION:
The vpccb15fb was not recognized by our system. If this
laptop is not compatible with Windows 10, more likely the unit will show
limited functionality. I recommend that you go back to your previous version of
Windows operating system. You may use the steps provided by Microsoft to
roll back.

Provide drivers for SONY VGN-NW270F laptops to allow an upgrade to Windows 10?
QUESTION:
Microsoft
has informed me that my Sony laptop cannot be upgraded to Windows 10. I
currently run Windows 7 Home Premium. Will Sony upgrade the drivers to
allow Windows 10 to be installed?
My model is a VGN-270F or PCC-7184L
SOLUTION:
Sony already released the updated drivers for Windows 10
operating system but only for units that came with Windows 8 and 8.1.
Unfortunately, no drivers will be released for models came with Windows 7 and
below. We do not also recommend upgrading your Vaio to Windows 10
SVF15A13SNS VAIO Control Center options missing
QUESTION:
I have
a Sony VAIO laptop (Model: SVF15A13SNS, Original OS : Win 8; Architecture :
64-bit). I updated to Windows 10 Home last year when it was launched by
Microsoft and everything was working fine. Due to a hard drive failure, I had
to perform a clean install of Windows 10 Home from the bootable CD two months
ago, which I had created at the time of up gradation from Windows 8 to Windows
10 Home.
Currently I am having two issues:
1) Device Manager:
One of the drivers (Other Devices) in Device Manager screen
shows yellow exclamation mark. When I right click and try to update driver from
online database it does nothing after saying Windows could not find driver
software for your unknown device.
2) Vaio Control Center:
I have a lot of options missing in Vaio Control
Center. Therefore, I can't adjust many settings for my Vaio, including the
Keyboard Backlight. I have tried to reinstall the Control Center (bundled in
the Hotkeys Utility on my PC's support page)
with no improvement.
Any assistance is much appreciated.
SOLUTION:
We always recommend performing an upgrade instead of a clean
install of Windows 10. There are drivers that cannot be downloaded from Sony
support website. Kindly download ALL Windows 10 drivers and software for your
computer by running Vaio Update
and Windows Update.
Another option is by visiting Sony support website and download the
drivers manually.

Driver for VPCF215FD VAIO laptop
QUESTION:
I
installed Windows 10 on VPCF215FD VAIO laptop. I want drivers for Camera
and Fn keyboards (for example: Fn+F1 for disable/enable Touch Pad). Please
guide me
If you haven't drivers for win10 please recommend me
the drivers for win8.1 or win8.
I tried to find those drivers also and had trouble
SOLUTION:
The model VPCF215FD is not compatible with Windows 10
operating system that's why you didn't see any drivers for it and lack of
drivers support may lead to limitations of functions.
The drivers for the missing functions are under
the Notebook Control and Utilities. You may want to download the
and for the Camera
It the issue still persists then this is due to
compatibility reason.
