Missing Drivers and software

QUESTION:

I have a VPCL232FX that is 2 months old and I downloaded Windows 8 and ALL of the drivers and software (that I wanted) on the support page and I seem to be missing items.

First, the touch screen driver is missing from the page and thus does not work.

2. The Sony firmware parser driver is missing.

3. The Dolby Sound driver is missing.

4. Sony update and Sony Care do not work in that I installed them and when I go to check for updates it says that I need to use Sony care to check for updates and not Sony update even though I’m in Sony care.

5. There are no Blu Ray software updates or anything. 6. My keyboard shortcuts do not work except for volume.

7. Sony Control has reduced items and functionality because the speaker enhancement stuff is missing; the monitor control stuff is missing, etc.

8. I seem to be missing Intel components like the Intel Management Engine interface and a few others

SOLUTION:

I was going to list the URL download for each item that you mention however there is a faster way to get all of your drivers.  Download our VAIO Upgrade Tool - Lite version.  It will automatically grab the Windows 8 drivers for you.

Go here:

Note: The VAIO Upgrade Too Lite version only contains driver and Sony software.  It will not contain 3rd party software such as Powerdvd for BD.
I recommend that you reinstall Windows 7 --> Perform a upgrade (not clean) to Windows 8 --> Purchase and use the full version of VAIO Upgrade Tools
Full version of the VAIO Upgrade tools can be obtained here:
